Melbourne Ducks are playing our debut season in the Australian Women's Ice Hockey League 2025/26

This milestone is thanks to the hard work, dedication, and sheer determination of our team and the entire organisation. From our talented players and coaches to our awesome support staff, everyone has given their all to make this happen.

A huge shoutout to our fans, our Duck’s families, and the entire Melbourne ice hockey community. Your support and belief in us have been incredible, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

This team will have the full Melbourne Ducks organisation and family behind it. Led by head coach Jeremey Muir, we will continue the same passion and commitment to player development Ducks players have come to love. This also means our Ducks game day atmosphere will be back, bigger and better than ever.

iceHQ takes great pride in development of women’s ice hockey in Melbourne. From junior hockey to women’s division leading into the upcoming Pro Winter League, the next natural progression is a top tier women’s team. We know Melbourne has the talent pool and fanbase to support a second team in the AWIHL.
